1 August 2024

Thank you everyone for your participation in our 2nd Open Call for Art Projects in April this year. It was a truly difficult decision to choose among many amazing project submissions.

We are very pleased and excited to announce the selected project: PHOTOPSIA, a site-specific installation by a visual Thai artist Nat Setthana, and curator Suphon (Gag) Niamkamnoet.

"'Photopsia' is a term, depicting a kind of condition when flashes of light are perceived without direct exposure to a light source. The term is employed as the title of our project to encapsulate the idea of visual phenomena emerging from the projection of light. The project reimagines the space within the gallery as a metaphor for photographic space where light phenomena take center stage, delineating a dialogue between what is seen and what remains unseen."

PHOTOPSIA will be happening at 100 Tonson Foundation from December 2024 through March 2025. More information will be available soon!
