Join artist Parinot Kunakornwong and Dujdao Vadhanapakorn for a participatory walk where drawing unfolds through movement, observation, and encounter.
"A Saturday Walk" is the first public programme accompanying Drawing, the solo exhibition by Parinot Kunakornwong, curated by Dusadee Huntrakul, led by the artist together with Dujdao Vadhanapakorn, performing artist, dance movement psychotherapist, and founder of Empathy Sauce and SOULSMITH.
"Walking" has long been part of Parinot's life—not simply as a means of moving through the city, but as a way of thinking, observing, remembering, and forgetting. Like drawing, walking traces relationships between places, people, memories, histories, and the body itself. It is through these lived encounters with cities, society, events, and the people who inhabit them that Parinot's approach to drawing emerges—where walking itself becomes another way of drawing.
The programme begins with an Artist Tour of "Drawing" at 100 Tonson Foundation, where Parinot will share the stories, inspirations, and processes behind the exhibition, before leading the group on a walk to Lumphini Park. Along the way and within the park, participants will be invited to observe their surroundings and create drawings in response to their own encounters with the environment. Through the walk, they will gain insight into Parinot's way of working while exploring observation, movement, and embodied experience through the perspective of Dujdao Vadhanapakorn. Rather than focusing on representation, the activity approaches drawing as a means of connection—an open-ended process of exchange and shared discovery, where everyone learns together.
The walk becomes both a personal and collective act, drawing connections between body and place, thought and gesture, and among all who take part through the shared acts of walking and drawing.
